A special lunar new year's eve

For the 1st time in many years, I helped my mum w the decorations. Though troublesome, but it had made my chinese new year for 2008 slightly more meaningful. In addition, my second uncle, who had migrated to Canada is back to celebrate w us.

The last time I had seen him was in Jun 2006. It was a great 2 wks when he was putting up at my hse. The hse was filled w a fresh wale of laughters. He nv failed to make everyone laugh. NOt because his jokes were funny, but becuz of his laughter itself. It was so unique and so CONTAGIOUS.

On chinese new year's eve, after returning from my first uncle's, we'll do our individual task. My aunt would be cutting the Bah Qwa into cubes to put into the container, my maid would be doing the last phase of cleaning n washin, my sis and I would help with filling up the serving dishes w food for the guests. And this year, my second uncle was there to help us. Haha. It wasn't just an extra pair of hands, but a special warmth.

And what a better way to spend the eve with a round of Mahjong!! Including my 2nd uncle, we had 4 pple!! We don't have to waste our saliva persuadin my sis to play. We were up till 3.30am!!
